國民黨新北市長參選人侯友宜近來身陷文大宿舍爭議，他今（16）日受訪表示，太太告訴他，如果北市府檢查認為建築物有問題，將立即與文大解約；對手蘇貞昌則說，選舉就是全面的檢驗，要誠實、正面的面對，情緒表達完了，對於各界質疑還是要說明清楚。
侯友宜表示，他不過問太太娘家的事情，建築出租作為學生宿舍，是又昱公司與文大簽租賃契約書，過程是律師處理，與他無關。他強調，陽明山這塊土地蓋住宅使用了21年，當中經北市府多次檢驗，使用執照與公共安全沒有問題。
侯友宜也透露，太太告訴他，如果北市府檢查認為建築物有問題，將立即與文大解約，但更重要的是要照顧好學生權益，尤其暑假快到了，要趕快安頓好學生。
國民黨台北市長參選人丁守中也替侯友宜抱不平，他說，這件事情明顯是政治操作，平時沒事，只有遇到選舉才開始炒作，而台北市長柯文哲這時候去打擊侯友宜，擺明是向民進黨表態，希望綠營在市長選舉時可以棄保。
針對這場爭議事件，民進黨新北市長參選人蘇貞昌則表示，選舉就是全面的檢驗，要誠實、正面的面對，情緒表達完了，對於各界質疑還是要說明清楚。他也針對民調落後侯18.1個百分點一事表示，自己看到的民調跟「美麗島電子報」昨天公布的不一樣，那份民調顯示，他和現任市長朱立倫相比，市民認為他更會做事，兩人有兩位數的落差，感謝市民的肯定，他一定會更努力，盼望有機會為新北市做貢獻。
